DIMP partners with Olive Inspirations Education Foundation run by our Founder- Kelvin Stephens and other meaning individuals through the Eyes of Grace; our mission’s arm work our means to fulfill the instruction God gave to our president to give scholarships, one of our major charity efforts. This outreach is dedicated to providing education for less privileged children and are committed to impacting the lives of 4,000 children by 2030. Our focus is to take as many children as possible off the streets, into the classrooms. According to UNICEF, one of every five of the world’s out-of-school children is in Nigeria. Even though primary school is officially compulsory, about 13.2 million (an increase from earlier 10.5 million) of the country’s children aged 5-14 years are not in school, making it the highest in the world. Even though public education is mostly free, the inability of parents to provide basic essentials like uniforms, shoes, bags and writing materials coupled with ignorance, as well as cultural barriers has formed an hindrance to parents sending their wards to school. Therefore, this initiative provides essentials for public school children who are without. It also equips public school students (from aged 13-19) with entrepreneurial and life skills training, with a mission to making learning more inspiring and life more purposeful. We believe what gets into a child’s heart will play out in his or her life and if they are not empowered with good education and basic life skills, they may grow to play out a script they never bargained for.
